SaaS uploads data over an encrypted channel for cloud processing — suitable for customers without strict data location requirements; credit-based pricing, low entry barrier. A fingerprint library is a curated collection of rules, features, and parsing strategies for recognizing different chromatography report layouts. It has seven layers: document fingerprint (instrument and report type identification), layout fingerprint (region position features), header fingerprint (column name and alias recognition), field mapping (PDF fields → standard fields), parsing strategy (text extraction / OCR / table reconstruction), validation rules (numerical format checks), source-trace info (source coordinates and page numbers). Each template is sample-validated for stability, accuracy, and traceability.

Pricing has three components: platform license fee (core software: user management, batch processing, audit logs, etc.), fingerprint library license and adaptation (which PDFs and how many template variants the system can parse), and service fees (deployment, training, validation support). It's not per-page pricing — it's licensed by platform capability and template coverage. Customers don't see "how much the software costs" — they see a complete project delivery package.

Parsing capability binds to the template fingerprint. When a customer modifies the report template, re-validation or re-adaptation is required. This is explicitly stated in contracts and product UI. The Enterprise plan includes annual template maintenance and dedicated adaptation SLA, with adaptation completed within agreed response times. The product surfaces real-time template validation state (Certified / Pending / Needs adapt / Deprecated).

No. Customer PDF source files, field configuration, and private template rules are customer data — not shared. Generalized parsing capability may be abstracted into the public engine, but customer-specific fingerprint libraries are deployed only in the customer's environment or tenant. This IP boundary is contractually defined.

The standard public fingerprint library covers Waters Empower, Agilent ChemStation / OpenLab, Thermo Chromeleon, and Shimadzu LabSolutions mainstream report formats. Other brands or highly customized templates can be requested via the Enterprise plan; the technical team analyzes real customer PDF samples and provides an adaptation plan and quote.

A standard environment (templates already covered) typically completes deployment + training in 1–2 weeks. With template adaptation or customer internal validation processes, the timeline can extend to 4–8 weeks. The Enterprise plan includes complete validation document support (IQ/OQ/PQ) — overall timeline depends on customer validation process complexity.

All plans include standard Excel/CSV output, importable into most LIMS. API-level deep integration (direct LIMS database writes, field mapping configuration, bidirectional sync) is included in the Enterprise plan, or quoted as a separate project — billed based on integration complexity.
